Rock Old Woman carries an old style Stone Mortar and Pestle. She is the Original Ancestor and Originator. Masculinity and Femininity are her Mortar and Pestle and her Creative Attributes with which she forms all Shapes in the World. In Europe she is still represented by the Black Madonna, the Mother of all Being whose Cosmic Fertility is Impregnated by the Cosmic Warmth of the Sun. Among my Slavic ancestors we keep Her Wisdom Stories and know Her as Baba Yaga, the Woman of the Sacred Mountain and the Sacred Forest. Her Song, which is Her Breath, which is Her Power, is the Song and Breath of Life, of the Harmony of Doing and Undoing which sustain the Processes of Creation.
Her Womb in the Sacred Mountain is the place where the Sacred Children of a Whole People die to childishness and are Reborn, receive Her Breath of Life, and begin our Journey as Response-Able Adults full-filling our Responsibilities of Walking in Balance with all the Expressions of Her Creation.
